Goal planning in health is a process whereby you think about your current state of health and your future health and learn ways to motivate yourself to turn your future health into a reality.
The process of goal planning helps you better chose where you would like to see yourself in the future. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You’ll also quickly spot the distractions that would otherwise lure you from your course.
Student Health Promotion provides free goal planning to the campus community. You can schedule a one-on-one appointment with a health educator and discuss your particular health goals. If you don’t know where to begin, that’s ok, your health educator will discuss a variety of options with you and then tailor a goal plan that best suits your individual needs and lifestyle.
